The 2010 Michigan Indoor Recurve and Longbow State 3D Championship will be Feb. 27-28 at the Detroit Archers Club (5795 Drake Road). all longbow and recurve archers are invited to participate.
Trophy-shoot registration takes place from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, and 9 a.m.-noon on Sunday, Feb. 28. A money-shoot competition will also be held Feb. 28.

Table tennis ‘Challenge'
The Rochester Table Tennis Club is hosting the Table Tennis Champs' Charity Challenge later this month in an effort to help raise funds for unemployed Michigan workers who are affected by the current economic situation.
The ‘Challenge,' which will feature some of the state's top table-tennis players, is set for 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at Hart Middle School in Rochester Hills (6500 Sheldon Road).
Mike Viellette, a Rochester resident who started his table tennis career at 9 years of age and is the reigning table tennis state champion, will be a featured player. Steve Xu, Dennis Cobb, Scott Endicott and Taju Oladokun are other notable participants.
The entry fee is your own donation.

The annual East-West All-Star Game presented by the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association (MHSFCA) is set for Saturday, June 19, and the South Oakland area will be represented.
